No license? No problem. Take control and explore the coastline at your own pace. We’ll show you how — then you take it from there.
Depart from Firiplaka Beach, Milos, and rent a 4.5m speedboat with 30hp for a self-drive experience. Discover Kleftiko, Tsigrado, and the south coast of Milos independently.
No license required (basic understanding of boat operation and sea conditions is necessary).

This is a weather-dependent activity.
The date selected during booking is considered your preferred rental date. If conditions are not suitable, we may adjust the time or move your booking to another available date during your stay in Milos.
To ensure the best chance of operating your rental as planned, we strongly recommend booking early in your stay, rather than on your final day.

What to expect
- Meeting point at Firiplaka Beach (details provided after booking)
- Check-in and document verification on arrival
- Short safety and handling briefing, including a test drive
- Independent exploration of the south coast of Milos
- Return at the agreed time for fuel check and completion
- In case of unsafe weather, your rental may be adjusted to a different time or date within your stay

General terms
- Boats are rented without a captain
- Basic understanding of boat operation and sea conditions is required
- Max group size: 4 people per boat
- Minimum age of renter/operator: 21 years old
- Knowledge of English or Greek is required
- All passengers must know how to swim
- Children must wear life vests at all times (provided, subject to availability)
- Basic balance and mobility are required for boarding
- Not suitable for pregnant women
- Rental date and time remain subject to weather and safety conditions
Insurance
Boats are insured for third-party liability.
The renter is responsible for any damage or loss to the boat and its equipment and may be required to cover repair or replacement costs depending on the case.
The renter is also responsible for the actions of all passengers.
Security Deposit
A €450 security deposit is required (pre-authorized).
If the deposit cannot be secured, the rental may be cancelled. Cash deposits are not accepted.
Safety - Please read:
- Firiplaka Boat Rental reserves the right to refuse or cancel a rental if conditions are deemed unsafe or if the renter cannot safely operate the boat
- All boats are equipped with legally required safety equipment
- GPS tracking is active on all boats
- The renter must carry a fully charged mobile phone during the rental

During summer, winds are typically from the north, making the southern coastline (Firiplaka, Kleftiko, Tsigrado) more protected. However, south winds may also occur, and local conditions can vary due to the microclimate of the area.
This is a weather-dependent activity.
If conditions at Firiplaka Beach or along the south coast are considered unsafe, Firiplaka Boat Rental reserves the right to adjust the departure time, modify the route, or reschedule the booking based on availability.
The date selected during booking is considered your preferred rental date, and changes may be required for safety reasons.
All decisions regarding weather suitability are made solely by Firiplaka Boat Rental and may be taken even on the day of rental.
Cancellation Policy
- Client cancellation
- More than 7 days before rental: full refund (5% processing fee applies)
- Less than 7 days before rental: 100% cancellation fee
- Weather-related adjustments
- If weather conditions are not suitable, Firiplaka Boat Rental may:
- adjust the departure time, or
- reschedule the booking to another available date within the client’s stay
- If the client is unable to accept any available alternative within their stay, the reservation will be cancelled and refunded
(5% processing fee applies)
